What flies where you using? You need to tie or buy flies that swim with the hook point up so you dont snag up on the bottom as much. We’ve had great fun up the fresh side, some nice size bass coming out there.

Hey Shane, I havnt fly fished the salt in a while, something I wanna change this summer season. Alot of guys have had success in the nahoon and gonubie, in fact most of our rivers are good in the right conditions. There are a lot of spotties around now, shad as well as the odd big kob in the Gonubie. The fishing should be improving all round now as the temperature warms up.
