Welcome to FishingBuddy’s angling competition. The angler with the biggest fish in each category will have their catch featured at the top of the competition page. You will also receive 25 points for gaining the top position in a category. These points will be added to your total accumulated points in the FishingBuddy points system (you get points for posting threads and replys on the forum, commenting, creating groups, posting updates on your profile as well as when other members donate some of their points to you when they think you deserve it) The first member to reach 200 total accumulated points will receive a prize (we are currently looking for sponsors for this prize) Current categories are: saltwater (offshore), saltwater (land based/estuary), saltwater (sharks/flatfish), freshwater (stillwaters), freshwater (rivers/streams).

- Gaining the top position in category will earn you 25 points toward your total accumulated points.
- You will hold the title of the biggest fish in a category for as long as it takes for someone else to bump your catch off the podium.
